as write in the title, this afternoon i was using my phone (which already has battery drain issue), and suddenly it turned off..i plug it to the charger, it turned on, but it was stuck on apple logo interface, i've tried to do a "force power", but nothing has changed..tried to turn it on unplugged from the charger, but same thing
whats wrong? (Logic board? transistor? battery?), and, i dont want to lose my data (last Itunes backup was in 12/12/2018), even if its stuck on apple logo, will Itunes acknowledge my iphone to let me make a backup?

I've had the same issue with my 5S before. Kept restarting and when it does seem to work normally, it suddenly restarts again. I suspected that it's likely but not necessarily battery related.

But since batteries are the first thing to go in mobile devices as it degrades over time, I went ahead and replaced it with a ScandiTech battery. In your case, it could probably be something else but we have similar symptoms and a replacement worked for me.

Here's the link to their site: https://scandi.tech/

They have easy to follow instructions and now I am responding to your email using my 5S.

If you plan to bring your phone to Apple Store one day better replace the battery in Apple Store ;) But if you use third-party repair shops it will be OK.

p.s. In worst scenario you will need to reinstall in DFU :(

In a worst-case scenario, but I think it's unlikely though, but yeah as Minorite mentioned, you will need to DFU restore. A 5S has likely no warranty left as the warranty is only 1 year long. While Apple stores are a good option for brand new phones or phones that are to be repaired under warranty, once the warranty has passed, Apple charges very high prices to fix even simple things.

This is why I really thank those third-party parts sellers. Saves a lot of bucks!
