Hey guys, I was replacing the battery on my 5s using the iFixit guide but when I assembled it back, it showed weird lines and inverted colors. I triple checked that every screw and every connector were in the right place and seated correctly but seems like nothing helps. I did the power cycle method but it does not help. Am I doing something wrong or does it his mean I have to say goodbye to my 5s? Thanks!

It looks like you may have accidentally damaged something, possibly when prying the old battery out. According to the instructions at iFixit there are only certain places the battery can be pried up from. There's lots of adhesive on the battery and they're hard to pry loose.

You probably pulled a ribbon cable on the display, which means you will have to get a new screen.
