I have an iphone 5s currently at version 9.3.3, i would like to update to ios 10. Is that possible? Because it doesn't show in my software update.

Should be possible. What do you see when you try to check for software update?

Are you jailbroken?

I updated my 5s to iOS 10 so you should be good to go. Worse case scenario connect to iTunes on a computer and load it that way.

Tether it or in simpler terms use the charger or USB cable and hook it directly to your computer! The people I see with glitches and problems update their IOS using wifi. Even Apple strongly recommends using the USB cable instead of wifi. This is always mentioned on the actual Apple product support forums posted by Apple themselves. There are two methods using itunes. Select update to the newer ios indicated as available on itunes and select or use itunes to fully download the file first and then select the update option. I used to update all the time but with the many bugs and complaints with the new ios I just sit on the sideline looking on the internet to see what and how many complaints there are IE wifi no longer works, battery life is horrible, etc.
