ive got this iphone 5s someone gave to me, it is blacklisted and it has no sim card, so i was wondering if theres anyway i can get it to work as an ipod? I can't get it to activate without a sim card, is there anyway around that? can i acquire a sim thats not attached to a plan and activate it with that? any help would be appreciated

It is blacklisted because it is stolen, or the owner didn't finish paying for it before they quit their service. Which is also another form of stolen.
So drop it off at the nearest carrier store and move on with your life.
