I'm pretty sure this is not possible, as my googling has turned up a handful of people just as frustrated as I am. However, I thought I would ask here just to be sure.

I have several Soundtracks on my iPod and iPhone, and I have them tagged accurately, in that if 10 different artists each contribute a track, the Artist tag is set to the name of each individual artist for each track. The Album Artist tag would then be set to "Various Artists", or something to that effect. However, the most efficient way to get to that individual album from the iPod menu would be to go to Music->Genres->Soundtrack->All (or in the case of the iPhone just go to the list of albums) and then select the album from that list. I've looked through all the settings and there doesn't appear to be a way to view by Album Artist.

Am I outta luck here, or is there something I'm missing?
