iPhone 6+ 128GB brutally slow after update

Hey guys,

After the updates, it literally takes 2-4 seconds before I can get back on homescreen or get to the task switcher.

Would restoring the iPhone help?

yes see iOS 9.1 BETA 4 post. many user say better animation in app switcher etc..

This is what I did and made the phone like new without a restore, although it did take some time. I do this after each major 8.0, 9.0 all the way back to 4.0 and have only upgraded since then. Wait couple hours after update. Update all apps. Open each app on the phone and let it setup if required. Close all apps from multitasking. Clean all notifications from notification center. Tweak any new options in the settings. Hard restart the phone(Power and Home.) Mine was initially really slow after the update.
