So I'm planning to jailbreak my iPhone 6 +.
It's currently running iOS 8.0.2.

Which is the best jailbreak available? and where is it safest to download from?

I jailbroke my iPhone 4 back in the day but I can't remember where I got it from.

Also, is it worth updating to the latest OS before jailbreaking?

Thanks for any advice people :D

On 8.0.2 to 8.1, I'd go with Pangu for the Jailbreak. Don't update to 8.2 (latest iOS) as there are no jailbreaks for that firmware yet, and you won't be able to even go to 8.1. They don't sign older versions anymore like they did back in the iPhone 4 days.

Actually, Apple never has signed older firmware versions, but with older devices on older firmware, we could use vulnerabilities to spoof firmware authentication.

I believe he's referring to the early iOS 4 days when we didn't need SHSH blobs to go to any version we wanted to
