Hi,
I have an iPhone 6 with s/w v.12.4.1
Over the last number of weeks I've gotten calls from contacts saying I butt dialed them. I have a pass code locked enabled so I ignored as nothing. Today I was on the phone with my wife and just after that call hung up my daughter called and another friend asking why I butt dialed them.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? I searched the google and there were issues in 2017 & 2018 but nothing on this version of software I'm currently running.
The call record shows on call with wife 12:30pm, on call or dialed daughter at 12:30 and friend at 12:31. I was actually on the call with my wife for 20 min. so it was physically impossible for me to be on a call and dial another call by accident.

Any advise besides buying a new phone.

Thanks,
Guy

Maybe try a hard reset? I have never had this issue. My iPhone stays in my Otterbox Defender holster or on my recliner or my bedside at all times. I don't put my phone in my pocket.

How about putting the phone in your front pocket. Considering the 6 is made from 6000 series aluminum, I’d be more worried about bending the phone and damaging the logic board which was a known issue with your phone by putting in your back pocket
