Wife has a work phone and left her 6 chilling in a drawer for around 3-4 weeks

Tried to use it yesterday but needed to be charged

Plugged it in and got the charging icon (battery with red bar-not the icon with a cable)
So left it over night - picked it up this morning, phone will not respond to anything

Plug into MacBook - nothing
Plug into mains - nothing
Hard reset - nothing

Completely unresponsive

Any help??

try a different outlet?
try a different cable / charger?
maybe the battery is dead?

iPhone 6 can take hours to react / charge and need a constant connection.

Thanks for the reply
Tried a few cables and outlets
Just seems strange that it registered it was charging by showing the icon and now it’s not doing anything
Will keep trying

If you've plugged it into a MAC and iTunes did not detect your device then this means that the battery is dead and needs to be replaced.
