I need some help...

My friend dropped her phone in water and I am trying to fix it.
I let it dry out for a couple of weeks then I cleaned all the contacts with alcohol.
I was surprised when it turned on, the issue is I can't really see the screen it is very dim and the battery is stuck at 1%. I am going to get a new battery for it and hope that helps, if not I will get a new screen. I have tried all the brightness settings, zoom and a hard reset but still nothing.

I would love to know your thoughts maybe you can think of something I have not.

Thanks!

I'd be careful about spending too much money on repairing her phone especially if the water damaged the logic board on the phone. Water damage can be unpredictable.

So I replaced the battery and the screen and the phone is good as new... only issue is the fingerprint sensor does not work. Oh well could have been worse!!
