Where can I find my downloads/download folder? When I click on a jpeg or PFD it says it's downloading and the picture or document opens up fine but try as I might, I can't find the folder they've downloaded to if I want to have a look at them later on. Thanks again.

There is none. They are stored within the app itself. You can check the email and instead of clicking on it you could just hold your finger until a new menu appears and then you can choose some options the same way you would if you would have the file in a folder. You can choose to store it in ibooks for example. Other than that, it stays in the email.

As Andreyirra says, there is no downloads folder. If you hold down on a picture in an email, it will give you the option to save it. You can then view it in Photos.

If you're downloading music from, say a website, then a nice easy way is to use the Dropbox app. You can save directly from the website into your Dropbox app. In there you can play the files directly, or copy them to an app such as VLC.

One of the reasons why there's not a nice simple folder where you can access downloaded music is just one more of Apples ways to try and discourage pirated music.

Aside from that there's no centralised location on iOS for downloads of any kind, Apple limits access to the file system for security reasons and there will be endless arguments over that decision. Files can only be stored within an individual apps dedicated storage location. So you have to associate any downloads with an app.

So images can be saved to Photos, PDFs and such can be saved to iBooks, many files can be saved to iCloud Drive, other files can normally be opened and saved within any app that supports them. Everything else, it's really much simpler to save to Dropbox and manage them from there.
