iPhone 6 was working fine last week. I noticed my battery started to drain extremely fast, 1% per minute, my phone would also get EXTREMELY hot when charging. So I restored my iPhone to new because I assumed it was because my device was jailbroken. After the restore nothing changed. My phone could be at full battery and idle for a 3 hours and die. I was afraid to leave my phone charging all of last night because of how hot it gets, so ever since my phone ran out of battery last night it won't charge at all (nor will iTunes detect it).

Time for a new battery. If your phone is out of warranty, Apple will replace the battery for $79.00.
