Hi all,

I have a problem with my iPhone 6 64GB software version 12.5.5. I changed my dock connector after charging problems. Hereafter the charging worked again but a new problem was present: When calling I hear no sound or dial tone, also the person I’m calling to doesn’t hear me. The network connection is working and the phone is ringing on both sides. This problem is not always there, sometimes calling works fine. I checked all the speakers and microphones and they are working well (calling with apps always works for example). I also changed different dock connectors but this problem is still there. Even a factory reset didn’t work unfortunately. Does anyone know what the problem is and how it can be solved?

Thanks for the help!

Replacing the lightning port is major open heart surgery. Many things can go wrong. Even when trained and experienced Apple repair technicians replace just the battery, things go wrong occasionally and they have to replace the phone with a new one (functional refurbished unit).

So you think something is damaged during the repair? What could be damaged and can i replace the damaged part in this case?
