Hi all, I am wondering whether or not I should buy an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus since I currently have the iPhone 5, What spurs this decision is that with iOS 8.x.x my iPhone's battery life has been abysmal dying at random % even while LOCKED. I am sick of getting an average of 2-3.5hrs of usage on my iPhone, and as I heard the Apple Watch may rely on the iPhone entirely I can see my usage quickly dropping with my current model. So, I pose the question, iPhone 6 or 6 Plus when it comes to battery/performance on iOS 8? I know the 6 Plus has some additional features but I am really curious to hear from you all what the real synopsis is. Thank You!

The 6+ may be a bit unwieldy for some, but it has killer battery life!

I'm a heavy user

The iPhone 6+ battery gives me past 2 days usage and extra real estate on screen. A no brainer for me.

At the end of the day battery stats comes down to the individual usage pattern.

You can go to Apple and have them check your battery. I would wait for the iPhone 7. Right now I get about a day's worth on my 5s. Before iOS 8 my battery life was better. To get a full charge I close all apps, turn on do not disturb and turn off anything that is running like wifi, cellular data, and bluetooth. After removing it from the charger I turn the phone off and then back on. I do that atleast once a week. Add any other maintenance.

I think the 6+ is more of a mini tablet. I held a few and my wrist started hurting. I like the size of the 5/5s. I can stash it in small compartments in my car. So the 6 would be fine.

Get the Six+ It has a much-improved battery life, and you soon get used to the size.
