My wife and I currently have the 6 and 6 plus. We plan to move to India and was wondering if we would be able to use our phones there? We figure that we will have buy another sim card. Is there anything else we need to know?

Yes you can use it in India, and you'll get LTE on compatible networks such as Air Tel. iPhone 6 is a world phone which means you can use it on any network - provided your iPhone is unlocked. On other networks in India, you'll get 3G.
