So today, randomly! my phone got frozen at the lockscreen and started to reboot on its own. i tried to do a hard reset, didn't work. my iPhone 6 Plus is on ios 8.1 and jailbroken. Long story short, i tried to do everything possible to fix it. Didnt work. Tried contacting apple, and said i would need to bring it in for a exchanged phone. What happens exactly is it resprings every 30 seconds, and after a few times a red screen comes up. After a little researching i realized im not first.

Now heres the funny part: ( totally my mistake )

after getting a new laptop 2 weeks ago, i didnt backup my phone snice. and i dont do it through icloud. so i plugged it in today, and its recognized by itunes, and when i click backup now, it says i need to disable my passcode. but i cant get passed the lockscreen. i tried booting in safe mode but all the buttons are unresponsive unless i try to do a hard reset.

so my question is, since im jailbroken, is there anyway i can disable my passcode so i could do a backup? i have 2 years worth of photos and messages and it hurts terribly i made such a stupid mistake.

if not, do i restore before i bring it to apple? is there any chance they can recover it instead?

thanks for your help guys.

Did you by chance install apple file conduit 2 or openssh? If yes, you should be able to access your device's file system through usb

I know by default recent version of the Taig jb install Taig AFC2, so he should be able to get in and safe the pics manually. Good thinking

How is this even possible?
You have a backup somewhere to have two years worth on that phone & ios ;)

He did say he got a new laptop two weeks ago. So depending on what happened to his old computer he may or may not have a backup sitting around on it.

Dont go to the Apple store, jailbreaking your phone and showing it to apple will result in a loss of the warranty. If there is anything important use a file explorer to pull it from the phone and restore. Using the file explorer, put the file back where it was
