my iphone 6 plus 128gb battery behaving a lot strange, sometimes my phone gets off at 26% and when i plug in to the charger it starts and start to charge from 26%, and sometimes it happen with 15% with same charging thing, but what i have seen that from 15% to 50% it charge within 30 minutes only and after that the charging goes slow, i visited service center and they diagnose it and found battery and everything in phone is perfect i dont understand what the hell is going on, i have always done a complete cycle of battery since i bought it, i have always drained the battery completely till the phone gets off, and then i charge it in one go. in my other 2 iphones which is 6 plus 128gb and 7 plus 256 gb which i am using with this iphone dont have any problem like temperature etc etc. please help me with this mess

That battery cycle business is actually a myth since we switched to lithium ion batteries. It's needed only to ensure the software battery meter is getting the correct reading. So once in a couple of months should be more than enough.

By doing your cycle you've actually hurt the battery more in terms of longevity.

This is a typical case of degradation of battery performance and also of the charge holding capacity of the battery. If your phone is nearly or over 2 years old then it's better to get the battery replaced by Apple.

The same thing happened to my iPhone 6 and diagnostics didn't show any issues as technically there is no issue with the battery. It's just normal wear and tear after prolonged usage. Apple didn't want to replace but I insisted & since then the battery life has been awesome and the phone is behaving normal as well.

I have this issue too now. Driving me crazy. Huge jumps down, 85% jumps to 68% in a few minutes of safari browsing. Keeps jumping down to 10% then hovers for an hour or two. Have a genius appointment this week. They better replace it!

I'm having the same problem, fast losing confidence in Apple.

I'm having the same problem, fast losing confidence in Apple.

I took it to apple last week, the battery diagnostic test kept failing. They told me that the reason must be because there could be a corrupt file or operating system on my phone. That's kind of ironic to me because it's a closed system so there's no way I can modify any of the files on my phone whatsoever. They told me that the best thing to do would be to completely wipe my phone and start fresh, which I was frustrated by because I have so much Health app data on my phone.

I was also having problems with my AirPods would drop about 10 to 12 seconds every few minutes on the phone call and they said it was the same issue it was the corrupt the daughter that was causing the issue.

So I took the phone home I wiped it I found a way to keep my health app thought of but nothing else. And then I'm having the same problem again.

So now it's back to Apple to have this thing resolved.

I think it's because of the bad quality of the Apple battery, I'm going to lose confidence with iphone.

This is standard procedure with any hardware vendors. Before they replace any hardware they need to ensure that it's not due to any software issues.

Ps. You don't need to fiddle around with any "file" to corrupt softwares. Your phone already is running a lot more complicated software codes for them to go wrong at some point.

You'll be amazed how many of such battery issues get resolved by resetting everything just because a rogue app or a glitch in the operations system itself was causing it.

Do you have any evidence to show the "bad" quality you're talking about or is it simply your opinion without any substance? The standard mobile phone battery degradation, that you will notice, generally happens in around 2 years mark. Although it depends on the usage pattern. Apple did issue a battery recall / replacement program for the iPhone 6S. You can't make such generalised statement without evidence.
