I've had a 6+ since launch day and was holding out for the 8 this Fall. I've been limping along with touch disease (not paying to fix a manufacturing defect and no I never once kept it 1) Outside of a hardshell case; 2) In my back pocket). If you bend it a tiny bit the gray bar will go away and touch functionality returns.

Yesterday, however, I lost all carrier LTE service (AT&T). Resetting network settings initially resolved the problem for about 20 minutes until signal completely dropped again. I thought it was an issue in the area, but I checked my wife's 6S and it was showing full signal. I repeatedly hardware reset my phone 4/5 times and ultimately the LTE service returned. But if I keep my phone in my front pocket from a short period of time... boom, signal is gone again and I have to go through resetting multiple times again.

I finally broke down and ordered a 7+ an hour ago. I know I'll be happy with the phone and will likely be able to arrange to get an 8 down the road (all of the new implementations, while amazing, will have me holding back from being an early adopter this time).

I wanted to see if anyone else ran into a similar problem. I really don't post here often enough, but would like to hear of any others.
