Hi! My iPhone 6 went for a swim last week, and despite sitting in rice (no gel packets) for 2 days, it has decided that it will no longer work. This makes me sad.
However, while I wait for the 7S to come out in 2017 (I hear it will have waaaay more upgrades than the 7 in 9/16), I will use an older phone that my company has lying around.
This brings up a problem, however.
My iphone 6 - which I do not back up to the could, is a 64G.
The loaner iphone 5 (maybe5s?) is only 16G.
I cannot restore the phone to the loaner from iTunes bc there is not enough room on the loaner.
I am ok with only restoring my contacts and a few select apps, but I don't know how to do this.
Anyone have a suggesting for
A. Reviving my 6 (preferred, of course)
B. Restoring partial data from iTunes to loaner phone without losing the rest of the backup (for new phone in the future)
Thanks!
