I went to the apple store today to have a new battery installed on my iPhone 6 (i0s 11.1). The tech ran a test and said it was not the battery so he wiped my phone and reinstalled iOS. He ran another test and it showed it had a bad battery. By the time I got home, an hours drive, the phone had completely synced with iCloud. I had backed up both to iCould and my MacBook Pro before I went to the Apple Store. When I get home the phone will not sync to iTunes. It will just make a ding noise over and over.

I installed the new iOS 11.1 yesterday and I'm not failure with it. Could anyone help me with this please?

Are you running the latest version of iTunes? That might be the culprit.

Yes I'm running the latest iTunes. My photos app flashes on and off with a dinging sound when connected to my mac not allowing me to use iTunes.

Anyone have any Ideas?

OK, I did a backup to iCloud on the phone. Then connected iPhone to Mac and and it synced with iTunes. Then it started dinging again and disconnected with iTunes. This is weird.

Ok, if all else fails change data cord. Everything good now.
