I just purchased my brand-new iPhone 6 on Sunday, and I have been unable to connect it to my school's WiFi network. The iPhone works perfectly on any other network but gives me the error "Cannot connect to this network" when I try to connect to the school WiFi. There is no password on the network, but there is a "Terms and Conditions" login page. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps with no results:
• Reset network settings
• Restart iPhone
• Toggle Airplane mode
• Forget network and reconnect
• Reinstall iOS 8.1.1

I am actually able to connect to the network in the morning, but once I put the iPhone to sleep it won't reconnect.

Can anyone here help, or is this an issue with :apple: Support?

EDIT: I would also like to clarify that my iPod touch 5th Generation (also running iOS 8.1.1) and MacBook Air are able to connect to the school's WiFi, but not the iPhone.

I just noticed now that it won't connect to any network with a login or T&C page. I can join my home and office networks, but not school, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, or any others that require a login webpage.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I attached screenshots of the issue to this post:

Not sure if this will work for you, but give it a try.

After selecting the wifi network you want to you normally there should popup a login / connect page for that wifi network.

But before I noticed this doesn't always seems to be the case, so you can try going to safari, type in any URL(don't reload a previous opened website, this doesn't seem to work) and press enter.

Sometimes the popup page for the wifi network loads and you can connect to the wifi network.

You need to use schools Proxy to access to this restricted network. Contact your school IT division and acknowledge about their proxy and port, then follow the steps:-

1. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ app and tap on ‘WiFi’

2. Next, tap on the WiFi network you need to add the proxy to. This should be one you are currently connected to.

3. This next page will display all of your network information, for the network you are connected to. Scroll down to the ‘HTTP Proxy’ settings and tap ‘Manual’.

4. A new box will appear below the setting. Fill in the Proxy Server address, the Port and (if you use it) turn on Authentication and fill in a username and password. These details should be available from whoever is responsible for your school`s network.

Once complete, exit the ‘Settings’ App and you’re ready to go!
