iPhone 6a plus 9.0.2 jail broken. I enabled passcode lock (stock feature). I forgot my pin, I entered the wrong pin enough times that my iPhone now says "iPhone disabled connect to iTunes"
What options do I have considering its jail broken. If I connect to iTunes, and needs restore. Will I loose firmware 9.0.2. ? Not happy about this. Please help. Also only reason this occurred is I added finger print Touch ID. Which sense iPhone restarted it asked for a pin and not allowing finger print by default. Forgot about that. So I tried to enter pin until disabled.

Your options are to remember your pin or to restore your device (you'll have to put it in DFU mode for this).

If you don't remember your pin and restore then you will lose your jailbreak and be forced to iOS 9.3.1.

If you had Find My iPhone on I hope you can remember your Apple ID and password because you will encounter iCloud Activation lock upon successfully restoring.

Thanks I know my Apple ID and password. However the iPhone says disabled and plug into iTunes. When I get out of work I'm going to do so. Question? I put iPhone into dfu mode plug into iTunes and I'll have chance at passcode again. ?

Connect your iPhone to your computer while iTunes is running and then turn the iPhone off. Leave iTunes running and do not disconnect your phone.

Put your iPhone in DFU mode (doing so will turn it on). iTunes will detect an iPhone in recovery mode and ask if you want to upgrade/restore. Say yes and let iTunes do it's thing.

The phone will be restored as new (unless you can make some kind of backup before all of this you will lose your data) and you will be presented with the iCloud activation lock before you can proceed. But the pin code will have been removed.

You have to use DFU mode to get around the pin lock. Otherwise iTunes will demand that you unlock the phone, which of course, you cannot do because you don't remember the pin.

Correct!!! I'll update when I get home and connect phone. iTunes is control even carrier unlocking as apples servers are foremost control. After a carrier agrees to unlock imei, triggers their dataset to be sent to apple. For then apples servers maintain final authority.

Just to add clarification, you still need your itunes password to set up your phone.

right however to setup my phone means i loose jailbreak. i have iCloud email address and password. my phone is in disabled connected to iTunes, and only options are restore and update. loosing jailbresak...

I'm trying to avoid loosing jailbreak. i don't have the option to use my iCloud backups or backups on my computer because iPhone is locking and not allowing me to do anything, like trust computer so i can use another program like imamazing. or itools pro. if i restore and update then ill be on 9.3 and yeah ill be able to get my apps, and data and iCloud up and running however jailbreak will be gone RIGHT???

Goodbye JB.

Maybe now you'll be more careful to remember the passcode...
not cool
[doublepost=1466116499][/doublepost]changing host files or something - this is not cool

No option to put into dfu mode and have ability to enter pin again. Forced to lose jailbreak

Make sure you restore and not update.
That can mess up things even worst if you update a JB device.
And how does one setup a passcode and then forget it?
Of Course the phone will need the passcode to unlock after a restart and not just the touch ID.
I dont get it. I owned iphones for over 8 years and never forgot my own passcode and lock myself out.
