Dear members

I've been an iPhone user for approx 4 years. Now that iPhone 7 is to be launched, I expect Apple iPhone 6s, 64GB, to get a price cut & sell at approx US $ 575 ~ US $ 600 where I live.

In comparison, if some of the flagship Android phones sell as follows, which Android should I choose ?

Comparative Android flagships / high ends
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Huawei Nexus 6P - 64GB, 4G LTE, .......... US $ 490 ~ 500
Samsung Galaxy S7 - 32GB, 4G LTE, .......... US $ 490 ~ 500
OnePlus 3 Dual Sim - 64GB, 4G LTE, ..........US$ 465 ~ 475
or should I stick to iPhones ...keep upgrading when budget permits ?
*thanks in adv.*
regards
I'd always go for iPhone. Plus the 6S is so damn powerful and will be capable/supported with OS updates for at least the next 4 years. It's pretty difficult to improve on the 6S IMHO.
From what I know of Android, I'd always avoid Samsung due to the layers of bloat slowing down the OS.
Nexus 6P is the best in performance out of all of the once you mentioned as alternatives and for an iOS user I feel it's better to be as close to stock as possible.
Having said that if you only have an iPhone then the switch should be much of an issue depending on your situation. It's more difficult if you live within the ecosystem with multiple Apple devices.
Few other things to consider while making the decision are, after purchase support. Apple is well known for their customer service. In my experience Apple and Amazon are the only companies that can be compared while talking about customer service.
Another thing to consider is the quality of apps. Generally iOS framework is better developed and documented at present. This the apps on iOS tend to be better in both aesthetics and optimisation.
Also, keep in mind, Apple supports devices for way longer than Google does, both in terms of after sell support and OS support.
Make your decision after careful consideration of all of the above points.
From what devices you listed the only Android device comparable in size is the S7, as the 6P and 1+3 are significantly larger. If size isn't an issue then I would say go for the 6P, and wait for a sale on the device as Google is gearing up to release the successor to that phone in a month or two. The 6P should see a nice discount.
All that being said, if you enjoy using iOS then just stick with the 6s. Android is fun, but only truly shines on devices running it close to stock.
thanks bhayes44
upto 5.5 ~ 5.7 inches, I'd consider Size an advantage, so, that is not a problem
yes the Google nexus 6P seems the best alternative with stock android
If you want an iOS device I'd recommend the 6s or plus. If you want an android I'd recommend a nexus 5x or 6p. Not quite flagship in hardware specs but real world performance is damn nice and you get s vanilla android experience without having to wait for updates.
I picked up a 5x brand new on a fire sale for $185. Keep your eyes peeled.
