I have a jailbroken 9.0.2 6s with the serial number needing the battery replacement. I mainly use jailbreak for free Pandora and Spotify.

Is there a way to get these apps for free without jailbreak? With my phone shutting off at 30-40%...not sure how much longer I can wait out for a new jailbreak. Thanks for the help!

When you bring your iPhone in for repair, let them know to please do not update your firmware

I've heard that they will usually listen to your request if possible

But I would suggest preparing for the worst

After all, it is up to the person that's working on your phone on what they do

I just had my moms phone done. They do it in store and don't care about software. At least they didn't for us. I just had to either unlock the phone and remove password or give them the password (I opted for the latter).

Thanks for the tips. Either way it goes, I could come to terms running the latest iOS. What's a few commercials when listening to music. o_O
