iPhone 6s Bluetooth not seeing other devices.

I have just bought myself my first iPhone, a 6s and i LOVE it!!! But it doesn't see my other devices, i.e. my samsung tablet and my Mac Book Pro, it does see my husbands samsung phone but won't connect to it. What am I doing wrong? Yes, bluetooth is witched on!!! Bluetooth does work as it connects to my car!!

Any help will be appreciated!!

yes, last time I looked.
[doublepost=1453587222][/doublepost]Just had another fiddle about, my Mac Book Pro found my phone so tried to pair them, the iPhone then told me that my Mac Book Pro was not supported and the Mac Book said that bluetooth was not connected, but the symbol is up and running and everything is telling me that bluetooth is working!!!

Thanks adamhenry that explains all It seems that I now need to decide whether or not to up-grade my mac book to el capitan!!!
