Have not changed any settings; my phone is just dropping almost every call I make. To the point where I have gotten a landline installed in my apartment and am using a cheap 20$ walmart handset. Running newest software.

Any ideas what happened or what I can do? I'm on Verizon on Northern NJ. Should I wipe it?

Never was the case I used to be able to talk everywhere with this phone and now it's impossible to use. I have even been using a landline.

Troubleshooting options:

Power down the iPhone, eject the SIM card, re-insert Sim, Power back on. Allow a minimum of ten minutes for the iPhone to re-initialize.

Also, if you haven't, contact your carrier and see if they can re-issue you a new SIM card if this does not repair the issue.

Or

Try Reseting Network Settings.

Or

Back up your data and Erase all content and Settings.
