128gb iphone 6s on ATT. I've had to reboot/restart (Hold home and power button) 6 times today already. Sometimes its just freezes on lock screen and other times it freezes when unlocked and in an app or on a "page" of apps. I don't know if anyone else has this but its really annoying. I'm guessing its a background app causing it or something so i've killed all apps in background for now except downcast.

Just wondering if anyone else has this.

I've had a few frozen apps, yes. Mainly Settings, weirdly. And this is on clean DFU restore.

Same here..It is driving me crazy and I've reboot/restart/restore/clean wipe and all at least 10 times. Nerve wrecking to say the least.

Well i'm glad its not just me. I've had to reboot (force it) more times in the last few days then all my years combined of owning and iphone (since 2008).

I simply couldn't take it anymore. Missed a few important calls and messages. I went back to 9.3.5 and all is well again. For now, ios10 is to buggy for myself and my phone at least.

It's been almost a week now and no issues with my 6s on ios 10. In fact it feels a little faster than ios 9. Very stable so far.

When installing ios 10 last week, I did an itunes restore (i.e wiped out firmware and put a clean copy of ios 10 on before restoring my saved data and preferences from ios 9).

I have been able to determine that rotation lock causing the phone to become unresponsive more often than with rotation lock off. It happens to my GF on a daily basis, she uses rotation lock 24/7. I never use it and I have only experienced the freezing once. She went an entire day with rotation lock off, didn't freeze once.

I've seen my air 2 freeze several times now in the settings, never an issue prior to iOS 10. Havent seen it happen in my 6s yet.

Same!

never really had a problem upgrading iOS versions but this one has crashed my phone when opening apps unlocking from the lock screen, switching/sliding views to notifications. its ****!

Its really slowed my iPhone 6s down, I could understand if my phone was an older iPgone 4 or 5 that the new OS graphical transitions and such were causing it to slow down or hang but 1 model down from the newest phone shouldnt be exhibiting so many... what seem to be CPU/GPU struggling.

man i thought this was just me.

a long with some apps not being adjusted for iOS 10, I'm back on 9.3.5 until this gets resolved.

10 was nice while it lasted lol.

Those with issues, did you update via itunes? Over the air?

Also did you remove any "apple apps" (That you couldn't do before ios 10)

Gotta be in it to win it
I have some freezing issues with mail. I have portrait lock on so I know it's not rotation. This is more intermittent, but I've never had to restart my phone.

I thought i would update that I decided to try again. This time I was prepared and had 9.3.5 install file ready just in case. :) I also did NOT do this over the air. I updated via itunes on my mac instead. All is well. Has NOT frozen once in 48 hours. So far so good.
