iPhone IPhone 6s is stuck at the white Apple splash screen, no idea how to fix it?

My wifes 6s, 9.3.3, Jailbroken is having issues. Her iPhone was at 6 and she plugged it in to charge and then it simply died. Every time she plugs it into to charge the white splash screen comes up for a few seconds and the phone then shuts off. If you plug the charger back in the phone turns back to the splash screen just can't get past it. I made a YouRuve video below, not the best but you'll get the idea. I've never seen his before. She's freaking out so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might be a hardware issue. Does she have a current back up?

One hail mary to try. With the device plugged in, turn it on then immediately hold down volume up. If your wife is jailbroken on anything less than 9.3.3 then maybe it'll boot into Safe Mode. I say this is a hail mary because if it truly is 9.3.3 then it's a semi-tethered jailbreak which means the phone boots unjailbroken and this won't have any affect.

And that will mean a hardware issue.

If there is a backup then you can try and restore the phone but it means going to iOS 10.3.1.

To do that, you'd need to turn the phone off, plug it into a computer running iTunes and then place the phone in DFU mode.

Assuming you can get into DFU Mode and this is not a hardware issue, when iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode, restore and upgrade as new.

From that point, assuming everything is ok, restore from the backup.

iCloud backup? I don't think she does, she had it on automatic backup but it's filled. She is on 9.3.3, she had to re-jailbreak every time her phone restarts.

So what are my options? I'm confused. What about updating to 10.3.1 since their is a chance of a JB coming?

No I mean all the data on the phone.

The jailbreak itself is incidental. That's already lost.

If most of her stuff is in the cloud then she won't lose anything. It will simply be a matter of reconnecting her device to the various services she uses.

But anything that is NOT connected to a cloud service or backed up somewhere will be lost.

As to upgrading to 10.3.1, it's not a choice. If you use DFU mode and iTunes you will be upgraded to 10.3.1.

Make sure iTunes is running before you start this process.

Note that if you successfully enter DFU Mode your screen will be blank (phone will still be on). If the phone will not go into DFU Mode and you know you are doing it correctly or there are any errors or problems during the upgrade/restore then it's down to a hardware issue.

Try holding the home and power buttons at the same time until u see the apple logo then release both. It's a soft restore u won't lose nothing.

I did the apple screen comes up and the my phone turns off. this is when phone isnt plugged into my pc and no itunes.

when i turn itunes on and plug my phone in and the phone turns on automatically and the apple screen comes on. i cant even get into dfu mode.

edit: i got into iphone recovery mode in itunes finally.

when i turn itunes on and plug my phone in and the phone turns on automatically and the apple screen comes on. i cant even get into dfu mode. unless im that stupid and doing something wrong.
