My job has me working from various offices using a company phone, and they are nearly all iPhone 6, 6s, or 6s Plus's.... which I need to use as a hotspot. Most are Verizon or ATT, and sometimes the connection is sooo poor or disconnects constantly.

It seems most antenna boosting options are magic bean type products, is there something I can do, or even buy that I can use or take with me that would either focus the connection or improve the signal? Just like spending money to upgrade a daily computer to get one that runs 20% better, over time that little difference is a huge time saver, so at this point I'm willing to do something or spend something significant if it will get me a better connection on those phones.

If anyone has any suggestions, or something that worked for them, I'd be interested to know about it. Thanks!

iPhones disconnect hotspots frequently even when two devices are right next to each other. It’s the iPhone way.
One way I found to keep the hotspot connection live longer is connect an Android phone to the hotspot too. It seems to keep the connection live. Has to be an Android phone though

Or if anyone has suggestions to place it in a certain area... like close to a steel appliance or wall, or away from one, or any other insight...
