Hi all.

My iPhone 6s plus have a battery problem. Since a couple of week now I saw a big difference in battery life so I decided to check it out with CoconutBattery on my computer to see the actual battery life. When I was at 3% the % health was at 75% and at full charge it was at 80,5-81.2% after just 256 cycles so I know my battery have a problem now.

My question is : I'm not under the 1 year guaranty anymore and I know I'll have to pay, but I'm wondering if I bring my phone on the apple store and on their test they say my battery is over 80%, can I order a battery change anyway or they only do it if they say I realy need it?

Also I know someone answer me on another topic but just to be sure, do I have to restore to iOS 10.3.3 if I'm at the iOS 11 beta or they'll don't care?

And, last question, do CoconutBattery result is realy reliable?

Thanks!

Sorry for coming across this so late!

From what I’ve heard, CoconutBattery does seem to be a popular program. I know there are many apps that assess battery health, but I seem to remember hearing that name often. I’m not sure how compatible CB is with iOS 11 at its current stage, or if its core functionality needs an update to work properly.

I do recall there being a battery replacement program for the 6s a while back. That could still be possible, given your device either falls within a range of serial numbers or tests poorly enough on the diagnostics. You could definitely ask about that replacement program, which was offered at no cost.
