Hey all - Anyone else experience this? I have an iPhone 6s Plus and I updated to iOS 11 maybe a week or so after it came out. It's been fine for most of the time since, but just in the last day or so everything has started to act slow and janky--the graphics motion, the response to pausing a podcast or youtube video, typing, etc. Even turning the screen from portrait to landscape or vice versa: the icons take a moment, then then full screen of apps turns, then the bottom "quick access" row turns.

It's acting more like every windows computer experience I've ever had, which is really frustrating.

Any insights? I'd assume it was the 11.0 version, but these issues did not crop up immediately. I haven't updated to 11.0.3 yet--I probably will tonight. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks ahead of time!

Update. Reset or reinstall are essentially the main options.

There are a few issues with iOS 11 and the iPhone 6S. On one hand, there is a definite incompatibility between iOS 11.0 / 11.0.1/ 11.0.2 and certain aftermarket screens. I detailed everything in a blog post. If you want to read up on it, I suggest you click on my profile for the link to my blog. However, that is only if you have previously installed an aftermarket screen, usually a low-cost one.

However, there are also lot's of reports and complaints about issues on the 6S from folks who have all-original phones that have never been repaired. These are a bit more baffling and are likely caused by some issue within iOS 11 itself. If that is the case, you should just keep following the update train until Apple resolves them. As CDM mentions, do a good backup of your device, then do a full reset and restore to see if that helps.
