I bought a iPhone 6s which the original owner states that it no longer powers due to a "bad battery". I replaced the battery but there was no video from the LCD. So, my question is, is it the charging port? Upon my inspection, it did look old/worn, I tried asking to original owner if the phone had possibly died completely, and when he went to go charge it, nothing showed up. They haven't responded yet, I'm just kinda impatient. I'm deciding weather or not I should buy a new port for this thing seeing as this could be something I am unable to fix.

It sounds like the seller sold you a dead phone. Ask for your money back and return the battery you purchased for a refund. Don't spend any more time or money on that phone. A 6s is a rather old phone anyway.
