Hey y'all,
My iPhone 6s screen just stopped working and the screen is all black. I know the phone still works because it vibrates when I receive emails, texts, etc.. I have no recollection of water damage, but my screen is so cracked to **** that it could've happened without my realizing, however, I really do not remember this happening, and my phone is on me at all times. It just seemed like one second it was working and the next it wasn't. I've tried to do several hard resets, and the screen will light up white (faded white, no Apple logo) for a second and then goes away, back to black. Other threads on this either relate to water damage causing this problem or just that a hard reset fixed it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks in advance if you can help, I really need this phone.

The digitizer is likely damaged and replacing the whole display is the only method.

Also, the touch screen appears to work. If I receive a call and swipe at the bottom of the display, it answers. I can unlock it by imagining where the numbers are and typing them. I don't know if that changes anything.

Doesn't change anything. While the touchfunction of your display works, the screen itself (digitizer, the part that renders all images you see) is broken. With a laminated display, you can't separate the different layers, so you'll have to replace the complete display.
