iPhone 6s won't charge properly :(

The battery doesn't fully charge it stays around 5 to 15%.
The phone is about one year old and warranty has expired

I tried another cable and outlet also tried to charge it via TV but still the same problem.
Am I for a new battery? But why would the battery be damaged after only one year of use? I must admit I've dropped the phone several times without protecting case and has been exposed to some raindrops here and there but all this time it was working fine.

Now it charges only via USB from tv.

The 6s is currently being recalled by Apple due to a battery issue. They'll replace your battery, free of charge.

Thank you I didn't know about the replacement program. I'm checking it out right now.
Actually, it charges only via USB in tv now not via the outlet.

Using the same cable? It sounds like either the cable is bad, the adapter is bad, or the outlet is bad (or some combination).
