Iphone 7/8 control centre apps crashes when on lock screen

Hi

I had same problem with 7 and now I'm on iphone 8 and still problem still persist.

I don't like to use my touch id to unlock the phone and I have my iphone set to require passcode after 4h.

If I try to open any app via control centre when on lock screen ie Calculator, notes, alarm - they all open for a split second and crash.

I couldn't figure it out and today tried to set my touch id to unlock and all apps work great.

Alternatively if I set my passcode to be required immediately they all work as well. They open fine and stay open.

Anyone else can try it and confirm same problem?

Looks like there is a glitch and apple is only allowing us to use those apps from lock screen when using Touch id.

Yes I meant 4h of inactivity
So I dont have to put in my passcode every time but it will still allow me to use apple pay.
