That seems like a rapid drop but I guess it all depends on how old the battery is. As it ages, it will degrade faster. Use a battery utility, such as [http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/|coconutBattery] (for Mac) or [http://www.3u.com/|3uTools] (for Windows) to see how many charge cycles the battery has. As a reference point, Apple generally guarantees that a new battery will retain 80% of it's design capacity for up to 500 charge cycles.

If your battery exceeds this spec, then it's "normal" from the manufacturers perspective.

I view batteries like baking. You follow the recipe but every cake is unique.

That does seem to be a bit of an accelerated drop, unless you've gone through lots of battery life cycles over the past 4 weeks. As Minho said above, iPhone batteries are designed to retain 80% of their original capacity for up to 500 battery life cycles.

Perhaps you've gone well over 500 battery life cycles, and now you're seeing accelerated decline in performance. It's difficult to say.

I'd recommend first checking out these iPhone battery tips to see if they'll help extend its battery life, then taking it into your local Apple Store if it doesn't improve. Someone at the Genius Bar can run a standard battery test to see if there are any abnormalities.

according to the 3u app, it shows 370 charging cycles up to date.

So your battery is still within spec...for now. Keep tabs on it and if you see it drops below 80% before 500 cycles, you should be able to have Apple replace it under their warranty.

This year you can still get it replaced at a discount whether or not it drops to a particular capacity.
