So I noticed the other day, all of a sudden, my phones camera is taking photos where the corners are very blurry or out of focus and only the center is sharp. I tested it using different focus points and AF lock, and the results are the same. Even when I try to have the camera auto focus on "nothing in general", the outer limits of the pic are blurred. The phone was never like this before. Anyone else see this happening? This is an iPhone 7 on 11.3.1. I wonder if the new OS caused it. The first pic is a photo taken with my iPhone 7, second with my wifes iPhone 8. Both on auto focus and held at the same spot and angle next to each other. Notice how the number keys are much blurrier in my photo vs the iPhone 8. On the iPhone 8 photo, the whole pic appears to be in mostly focus, whereas mine is specifically only the middle of the photo. The lens is perfectly clean so its not dirt.

LOL a few decently hard smacks on the table, on the corner by the camera, seems to have reset the lens back into place I guess. it appears to be fixed :D

Hey man I've been having this problem for ages with my iPhone 7Plus ever since it was new it was a gift. I've tried resetting, updating, cleaning and trying alternative camera apps and ever hitting it like you did but the problem persists and its ruining my shots!

you will either have to take it in for repair at an apple store, or try what I did and smack it on a table to try to reset the lens.
