Hello!

The iPhone 7 is $200 off at VZW.com today. I originally was thinking about the SE but the deal has me interested. I love the small form factor of the SE and that was why I was originally leaning that way.

I currently have a Galaxy S6 Edge+ and am sick of the extra large phones. I previously had an iPhone 5.

With the iPhone 7 being about $100 more (spread out over 24 months), do you think it is drastically better than the SE?

I was also thinking about waiting and hoping an SE 2 would come out, but haven't found anything solid on that yet.

Thanks!

Small form factor is nice, but yes-the 7 is drastically better overall.

Better screen, camera, 2nd gen TouchID, force touch, haptic home button, more water resistant etc.

I love my SE, but the only two things it has on the 7 is smallness and better battery life.

However, the 7 doesn’t have a headphone jack, if that’s an issue for you...

I was going to wait for Black Friday to upgrade because I was in the same boat. I went for the iPhone 7 because of the deal Verizon is offering. My iPhone 6 is 64gb and I was holding out for the 256gb iPhone 8 which is $849, but then I saw the deal with Verizon on the 128gb iPhone 7 for $549 and jumped all over it. My wife has the SE and loves it but I have a hard time typing on it and the 4.7" iPhone hits the sweet spot for me. The upgrade meets my needs and I feel good about it.

Thanks for the info. I might jump on the 7. I no longer need the latest and greatest and the price seems like a good deal and the size doesn't seem too big. My wife has a 6S and she said she loves that size.

You can get a prepaid Verizon iPhone SE that will work on the postpaid network for 149.99 at Best Buy.

Not sure if it’s different for every account but I was told that I’d have to wait 6 months to activate it on my postpaid account. With that said, if someone only has 1 line, a prepaid plan isn’t a bad idea because there’s no line access fees.
