iPhone 7/Plus IPhone 7 plus call quality

Hi,

What is wrong when the call quality from an iPhone 7 plus is so bad that you hardly can hear the person? I mean when I speak to that specific iPhone 7 plus. It shifts from good to bad, but when the owner of the iPhone 7 plus switches to speakerphone the sound is good. It has been like this since the iPhone 7 plus was new and the sound is always bad until he switches to speakerphone when I call him.

I thought it was just my phone .... I always had to use headphones for phone conversations that weren't on speaker.

Have you had that issue since you bought the phone?

I believe it worked fine out of the box but this issue came up maybe a few months later.

My iPhone 6 Plus has the same problem. So... I only use it on speakerphone

Interesting. My 6 Plus had the best call quality of any iPhone I ever had—any cell phone, actually. But I can confirm the bad call quality of the 7 Plus.
