Just trying to figure out if this is a phone issue or software related. I just got my phone on 11/7. I am currently on 10.1

Apps are crashing. Screen goes black when going into landscape when texting. No more beep-beep when you access Siri? Sleep/Wake button seems ultra sensitive. Reboot take a really long time (like twice as long as my 6).

Anyone else have similar issues or know the best way to address?

Thanks

Siri doest beep. I Googled that when I first got my phone as I was expecting it coming from Android.

Actually, Siri started beeping again  Not sure what happened there. I do know my moms iPhone 6S Plus had the volume down on the Siri function which may have been why she wasn't hearing it. When you say 'Hey Siri' and she is listening, check the volume at that point. Push it up to raise the volume and see if it was down all the way. I noticed that certain apps/functions have their own volume control.

There's a sound when Hey Siri is used to indicate that it's listening. There isn't one when Siri is initiated by holding down the home button.

And, yes, Siri has it's own volume, which is separate from other volumes like app volume, call volume, ringer volume, etc.

I had the same things and that was really hard to deal with. My experience was something like that:

I bought iphone 7 plus and basically nothing worked, the scream had issues there were even some scratches on the back of it, like its refurbished or something. Tried contacting apple, didn't worked out, found this site that helped me with connecting to apple different departments until i finally found one guy in apple, he was shocked about my all
experience, his name was darren, and i must say- he done it all for me, i went back to the store and they took care of it.

So, there are good and bad sides to Apple, i had a taste of both of the sides : )

Apple has always been relatively decent in the trouble dept. Billing is another story. I have to call Apple about my bad bluetooth connection in my car. There is some funky static type interference going on. Never had this issue with my 6....

Normally, a new iPhone would not work like that. Given that your iPhone is still under warranty. It might be a good idea to send it back to Apple Store and have it checked.

I can't send it back and be without a phone. I would need to go directly to Apple. I have to call and have it documented until I can find the time to go.

New issues include calls not going through until I reboot, poor sound quality (other person can't hear me) and I noticed a weird pulsing type interference in the beginning of some calls. Plus the bluetooth issue in my car. I'll call tonight.....

I just got a 7 plus and the Bluetooth in my new truck works buts it's laggy and slow
Wasn't like that on my 6s Plus no lag at all
I'm
Rather annoyed with this new iPhone 7
