Correction: *7 and 7 Plus*

There has been a couple threads on this subject with mostly defective cameras but its looking like a known issue with lower light photos coming out pretty bad. Its seems like a compression problem with the stock camera app, as the RAW images from a 3rd party app makes the photos clearer and less blotchy/painting like.

I personally ran into this a few times in both outside and inside lighting. Pictures look good on the phone, but either zoomed in on the phone or on a high res screen (MBPr 13) they look pretty bad. I called Applecare and spoke to a senior adviser. She sent me a file upload option to share with the engineers and waiting to hear back.

Anyone here running into this issue?

I haven't had any issues with the picture quality on my 7 Plus besides keeping the rear lens clean.
