iPhone 7 Question

I need a new phone and going to get the iPhone 7 but I don't want a contract and I am going to buy the phone outright. I am with Verizon now on my iPhone 6plus (touch disease) but want to try out T Mobile but don't want to be locked into a contract if I don't like the service.

Can you buy "sim free" iPhones on release day online?

Sure. Buy direct from Apple just like always. T-Mobile has no contracts even if you buy a phone from them on the easy pay plan. The catch is that when you do that, the phone will be locked to T-Mobile until you pay it off, however, you are not under contract and can leave T-Mobile at any time.
