So I have been reading some of your comments and some Jailbreaking news sites (idownloadblog), but can't find my answer.

I have come to a conclusion that there isn't a jailbreak for 10.3.2 on the iPhone 7+. Is that correct?

Also, I believe I have a backup from a year ago on my MacBook (iTunes) which I can do a back up from.. would that help me go back to a earlier version of software? Or is that only restoring any contacts, photos, etc that I had a year ago.

I'm really interested in Jailbreaking my iPhone 7+, so any advice would be helpful.

Sorry, but as for now, there is no jailbreak for iOS 10.3.2 for the iPhone 7 plus, or any other iPhone for that matter. You cannot restore to a version of iOS that has a jailbreak. Your backup won't help you. Your only hope is to stay where you are (10.3.2) and hope that a jailbreak for that firmware is released. Once again, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

If only it were that easy!

But it is not, sadly.

Backups only store your data. The OS itself resides on the device, separate from everything else.

So, yes, all you'd be restoring would be contacts, photos, etc.

No worries! Thanks!
