Resolved iPhone 7 store replacement issue

I gave my cousin for his birthday this iPhone 7 that was replaced at Apple king of Prussia March 18 I gave it to him today sealed with apple wrapping protect plus this is his first iPhone .

He took the Apple protector off and saw a scratch and dust under the lens.

I called Apple care with a senior advisor they want to charge me 30 bucks for the issue but the store gave me it like that

Is there anyway I can an remove both issue without voiding my Apple care plus that’s ends in September?

Its Cosmetic damage. I don’t see any scratches under the camera lens cover, it looks like dust. You Won’t be able to remove the scratches either way.

Alex, just leave the phone the way it is and see what Apple can do to assist you, if anything at all. If you use toothpaste, you will likely make it even worse and then blame Apple for something that you did.

Call up and bitch at them, tell them your not paying anything. I just called and bitched at Apple they sent me a new iPhone X, and are fixing my other iPhone 8 glass that broke for free.

Sent me another one, this one is near perfect. Had an issue the other day the top speaker stopped working I restarted it and it worked so far so good.
