Does anyone happen to know a fix for all the bugs I'm encountering with my iPhone 7 after updating to iOS 11? For example, my phone worked perfectly for a year until updating to iOS 11 but now multiple times a day it completely crashes and shuts off or freezes and requires a hard reset. It also doesn't open apps quickly at all and usually requires the app to be closed out 2-3 times before finally deciding to work for a little bit and even then still crashes shortly after at times. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to resort to switching to android. Thanks!

I am running iOS 11.0.3 on iPhone 7 and it is all good. For best results, back it up & do a full restore via iTunes vs OTA.

I have actually already tried this twice and it helps for about 2 days and then it stops. Another common problem I have is the music control center widget not working and speaker phone not working as well.

Sounds strange... Do you keep lots of photos on the phone? Quite a few people on the forums here were complaining that after upgrading to iOS 11 their phones would go super sluggish for several days as their photos & videos needed to be converted to the new file formats. Once this was done, the devices would pick up in speed.

I keep all my photos/videos in Google Photos, so my day-to-day photo library in Apple Photos app is quite small. Stream music with Spotify as well, so only use 15 GB of iPhone storage (iOS 11 included). If you have more data on it, however, things might take a while longer to settle.

If not, try taking it to Apple for a check-up, as iPhone 7 should be quite fast on it, mine certainly is. What is strange that you say your phone gets slower as time goes by, instead of getting faster.

Good luck with sorting it out!

If you want, you also could enroll yourself in the iOS 11 public beta which would allow you to install and try 11.1. I've heard it fixed some others issues with slowness.

Let's try a few things first.

1. CLOSE ALL apps before doing step 4.
2. clear all browser cache
3. Disable all background services for Apps (in Settings).
4. Clear iphone ram:
Unlock iPhone
Hold down power button until the "Slide to power off" option appears on the display.
Next release the power button, and then hold down the home button for roughly 5 seconds.
Just like that poof iphones memory/ram is refreshed.
See how this works?
