I've got an iPhone 5 running beta 2 of iOS8.2
I know I could update and rejailbreak on iOS8.4 yet cannot come up with a compelling reason as to why.

Would you recommend doing so? Right now I do like the stock music app with 8.2 vs 8.4 yet if there were solid reasons to update I would, as I am open to running the smoothest, best firmware on this iPhone.

I can only say no for myself.

The only benefits I can see are WiFi calling and this new music streaming thing Apple has going on. Neither of which I use and the music streaming thing is something I have zero interest in. Oh and Apple Watch. Which I also have no interest in and have a dislike for.

Why Apple thinks I'd want to replace Pandora or listening to Soma FM via Internet radio on my Mac or using Google Play for my own music I don't know.

This is one of those rare betas that offers no expiration date. It was what attracted me to download it in the first place (coupled with the fact it was jail breakable).

Probably not? It's possible a beta doesn't expire yet the signing window is closed?
Either/or: you bring up a good question.
