Is there any way to bring the tap to wake feature of the iPhone X to the iPhone 8 series?

Would be quite handy while it is sat in my wireless charging dock.

Battery life has been great on my x so far it doesn’t seem to

android has 60hz but they have double tap

What possible difference could having a higher hz screen and input have on whether it could have tap to wake?

My eyes have rolled into the back of my head.
