Yeah, I'm interested in attempting to jog with my iPhone 8+. I really don't want to spend $399 on a GPS watch. My FitBit stepcounter gives no information on my run besides step counting and is not very accurate without gps (when using with the phone).

I'm a pretty big guy - 225 pound 5'11 who sweats profusely when jogging.

Should I get - https://www.amazon.com/Otterbox-Def...=1510444709&sr=8-3&keywords=iphone+8++jogging

or

The waist band seems like a great idea - I can hide the phone under my shirt since I don't run in the best of areas.

Any assistance or info is appreciated. Biggest worry is about drenching phone but would love more info on my runs.

Been happy with something similar to following, except by Stalion and for the 8. To be honest, colors and style seems almost identical (guessing same factory in China stamping different names on them). Sweater as well, and has kept the phone dry (also helps that I use a ultra-slim case which fits in these).

EDIT: see OP selected something similar. Make sure that the case you select has an opening for the home button. Several advertise that can use the button, but when you look closer, they are referring to the 6 or flat out lying re: 7/8 (no hole/notch). And a hole for Lightning vs snaking through a different hole.

Voting armband as seems easier to get on/off to work phone vs belt. And when off the arm, don't have all that extra material dangling that a belt has.
