I can't undo what I did

A few months back, as a security precaution, I got rid of the 'x' on my apps when you hold one down and can them move or delete them...now they jiggle so I can move them, but the 'x' upper left hand corner is gone,...

so, today, when i want to delete some cause I never use 'em I can't...

Can't recall for the life of me what I hit in settings to do this...

any help rewarded with kindness and good karma...

I think they moved the setting, it's now in screen time.

Settings->Screen Time->Content and Privacy Restrictions->iTunes & App Store Purchases->Deleting Apps->Allow
