Hello,
I apologize in advance for my bad english.
I have a question to ask:
I have an iphone 8 a few months, I have updated the last available , I know that my phone loses about 3% or 4% (No battery energy saver) in airplane mode in 8 hours!
I deactivated
updates itunes
icloud backup
app updates background
restored to dfu 0 app charged

if it is left in 100% charge mode, it loses nothing for the whole night!
iOS 11 problem or it’s normal?

thank you

You may have turned off background app refresh but sometimes app stays in the background like WhatsApp when it still uses data and battery (aka standby in case of new notification) even Snapchat, any social media or any messenger app. Another battery drainer is to turn off location for certain apps which doesn’t require your location for the app to work and also change your mail sync setting to disable push and change to fetch at a higher interval. Also cellular coverage at home if it is low, the radio will continue to scan for better signal so it might be better to use WiFi Calling with airplane mode on and WiFi connected. Battery will always drain since whatever you do or not do there is energy flowing from the battery to the components in the device.

If I have a full charge device and throw it aside and don’t use it, the battery will still go down! It will drain much slowly than when you’re using it. It is normal. Sometimes, after 8-9 hours my phone would drain 0-5% overnight
